Trust the Self Only...

“As soon as you come to the beautiful space of serenity and emptiness, simply keep quiet inside your being. Now it is easy to recognise who the first visitor will be. Mind will come and ask: ‘Now what?’
This usually gets the ‘person’ and its sense of insecurity going again and many get distracted by the ‘fear of the unknown’ and hesitate to go further in.
But to whom is the mind asking such a question?
Mind is outside the door now but he is not yet gone.
He is trying to re-enter to regain control by connecting to your ‘person’.
‘So, what are you going to do with all this emptiness?
How are things going to get done?’ he asks. But this is not your concern now.
You have moved from person to presence–a higher state of consciousness.
It is a crucial moment in the awakening. Mind is not going to give up this easy.
Any chance to push you back into the previous state he will take. Do not fall for this. Trust the Self. Be one with your inner being.
There is nothing to do but to keep quietly acknowledging the state and presence of grace.
Just keep quiet.
Let go of command.
Let go of the ‘wheel of life’.
If you, as a person, try to direct life, you only make strive.
When you give up the need to control, you find you are caressed by a deeper power. Appreciate the silence, the stillness, the intuitiveness and wisdom that is arising naturally inside, which your mind is trying to distract you from recognising.
Be empty, quiet and trusting.
It is like a hole is being made in the mind’s universe and the hand of God is pulling you through into your divine existence.”

Even Thinking "I am Peace" Disturbs This Peace...

"You are Emptiness, the ultimate substance:
removing Emptiness out of Emptiness
leaves only Emptiness because there is nothing
beyond it.
All rises from, dances about in, and returns to

This.
As ocean rises as a wave to dance,
so you are this dancing Emptiness!
Nothing is out of this Emptiness and so it is the
Fullness.
Emptiness is between is and is not.
To be Free, you need the firm conviction
that you are this Substratum, this Peace, this
Emptiness.
You are what all happenings happen in.
What happens must happen so remain unaffected
as Peace.
Be peaceful and this Peace will spread.
What rises from Peace is Peace and
what rises from confusion is confusion.
So be Peace and give this to the universe,
it is all you should do.
Even thinking, "I am Peace" disturbs this Peace,
so just be Quiet, be as you are."

Go Deep Into the Sense I Am.."

"Go deep into the sense of `I am' and you will find. How do you find a thing you have mislaid or forgotten? You keep it in your mind until you recall it. The sense of being, of `I am' is the first to emerge. Ask yourself whence it comes or just watch it quietly. When the mind stays in the `I am', without moving, you enter a state, which cannot be verbalized, but which can be experienced. All you need to do is to try and try again. After all the sense of `I am' is always with you, only you have attached all kinds of things to it- body, feelings, thoughts, ideas, possessions and so on. All these self-identifications are misleading, because of these you take yourself to be what you are not. "

"You are pure Being - Awareness - Bliss"

"That which makes you think that you are a human is not human.
It is but a dimensionless point of consciousness, a conscious nothing; all you can say about yourself is: 'I am.
' You are pure being -- awareness -- bliss.
To realise that is the end of all seeking.
You come to it when you see all you think yourself to be as mere imagination and stand aloof in pure awareness of the transient as transient, imaginary as imaginary, unreal as unreal.
It is not at all difficult, but detachment is needed.
It is the clinging to the false that makes the true so difficult to see.
Once you understand that the false needs time and what needs time is false, you are nearer the Reality, which is timeless, ever in the now.
Eternity in time is mere repetitiveness, like the movement of a clock.
It flows from the past into the future endlessly, an empty perpetuity.
Reality is what makes the present so vital, so different from the past and future, which are merely mental.
If you need time to achieve something, it must be false.
The real is always with you; you need not wait to be what you are.
Only you must not allow your mind to go out of yourself in search.
When you want something, ask yourself: do I really need it?
and if the answer is no, then just drop it."

The Self Alone is Real...

"In the great seeing, there is only the great Nothingness. There is no somethingness. There is no ‘other’. In the Self, the world of names and forms is not perceived as independent or separate.
In fact, knowing the Self alone to be real, the world as a separate phenomenon is hardly noticed and is perceived or experienced to be ephemeral, illusory, impermanent and insignificant.
Even in so-called spiritual circles it is common to hear people saying that although they know there is truly only the emptiness of Awareness, there is also the separate life of the person playing out in the vastness of the Self. However, these only appear while there remains some invested interest in the identity called a person.
While the ‘person’ is accepted to be one's self the conviction will be that it is the reality, the fact, and the Self will only be felt as a fiction or at best, an intellectual reality only to be reached later and not one’s experiential truth.
This power to identify arises in and from the Self in its illusory portrait called a ‘person’ along with its personal life. It is this person who sees a world external to himself. The Sage knows himself to be the universal Self and perceives only the Self.

If you surrender to a Higher Power...

"If you surrender yourself to the Higher Power all is well. That Power sees your affairs through. Only so long as you think that you are the worker you are obliged to reap the fruits of your actions. If on the other hand, you surrender yourself and recognise your individual self as only a tool of the Higher Power, that Power will take over your affairs along with the fruits of actions. You are no longer affected by them and the work goes on unhampered. Whether you recognise the Power or not the scheme of things does not alter. Only there is a change of outlook. Why should you bear your load on the head when you are travelling on a train? It carries you and your load whether the load is on your head or on the floor of the train. You are not lessening the burden of the train by keeping it on your head but only straining yourself unnecessarily. Similar is the sense of doership in the world by the individuals."

Seeing God Everywhere...

"When you see the world you see God. There is no seeing God apart from the world. Beyond the world to see God is to be God. The light by which you see the world, which is God is the tiny little spark: ‘I am’, apparently so small and yet the first and the last in every act of knowing and loving.
All is secondary to the tiny little thing which is the ‘I am’. Without the ‘I am’ there is nothing. All knowledge is about the ‘I am’. False ideas about this ‘I am’ lead to bondage, right knowledge leads to freedom and happiness. The ‘I am’ denotes the inner while ‘there is’ denotes the outer; both are based on the sense of being."

Earlier I was so sure of so many things...

Earlier I was sure of so many things, now I am sure of nothing.
But I feel that I have lost nothing by not knowing, because all my knowledge was false.
My not knowing was in itself knowledge of the fact that all knowledge is ignorance, that 'I do not know' is the only true statement the mind can make.
Take the idea 'I was born'.
You may take it to be true.
It is not.
You were never born, nor will you ever die.
It is the idea that was born and shall die, not you.
By identifying yourself with it you became mortal.
Just like in a cinema all is light, so does consciousness become the vast world.
Look closely, and you will see that all names and forms are but transitory waves on the ocean of consciousness, that only consciousness can be said to be, not its transformations.
In the immensity of consciousness a light appears, a tiny point that moves rapidly and traces shapes, thoughts and feelings, concepts and ideas, like the pen writing on paper.
And the ink that leaves a trace is memory.
You are that tiny point and by your movement the world is ever re- created.
Stop moving, and there will be no world.
Look within and you will find that the point of light is the reflection of the immensity of light in the body, as the sense 'I am'.
There is only light, all else appears.
